Seasons in Our Life

I’m currently in a season of grief. I have been for about two years, but it continues on, as those I love are still dying. It seems endless. I ask God to give me a break, that it would be okay if no one dies for about a year.

But I know it won’t last for ever. There are many seasons in our life; particularly on our faith walk. Days, weeks, months, years when we hold on for an answer to prayer, or some kind of healing to take place.

I’ve been asking a lot of my prayer warriors, and I know it’s getting through because I have some really good days, filled with laughter, joy. Overall, it just seems incredibly sorrowful, but these bright spots remind me that life is truly a gift.
