My dad frequently commented that “our world is going to hell in a handbasket.” What is a ‘handbasket’ and why is the world in one. Worse, this was back in the 1970’s, imagine what he would think now. Roe overturned, Ukraine war, starvation in Sudan, the list is endless.
Although this is an unfortunate conversation and I seriously doubt that the mode of travel to Hell is in a handbasket, it needs to be said; PRAY PRAY PRAY. Pray for the state of the world, pray for your leaders, pray for your ministers, and pray for the evil-doers to change their ways; see the light, come to Jesus. It’s not impossible for God.
