A little over three weeks ago I had my left knee replaced. It’s been quite a recovery process. Today is the first day that I am motivated. The previous days and weeks have been ‘forced.’ PT cracks the whip and my husband reminds me that I must do more than I think I can, and then there is the necessary self guilt; if I don’t rehab well, the surgery won’t have been a success.
I’ve been inspired to praise God with music the past few days. And a friend shared a mighty scripture with me; Corinthians 1:3-5 (I’m using The Message Bible version).
The Rescue
3-5 All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of his healing comfort—we get a full measure of that, too.

May you receive the powerful healing of Christ. He restores and loves!
